Poop Squad Terms of Service
Please read these terms of service carefully before hiring Poop Squad for pet waste removal service at your property.
DOG WASTE REMOVAL SERVICE
Poop Squad provides pet waste removal for homes and businesses with flexible service options: monthly, bi-weekly, weekly, twice weekly, or three times a week. Pricing is based on the number of dogs, yard size, terrain, and location.
SERVICE TIMES/SERVICE DAYS
Upon signing up, you will be assigned specific service days. We do not offer time-specific visits and operate from sunrise to sunset, rain or shine, as long as conditions are safe.
If weather or road conditions become hazardous, services will be paused until they improve. Occasionally, we may need to reschedule your service day due to
holidays, weather, or operational issues.
HOLIDAYS
We operate on most holidays to ensure consistent service. If needed, we also work on Saturdays to catch up on delays caused by holidays, weather, or other disruptions. However, we do not operate on Memorial Day, July 4th, or Thanksgiving. Additionally, we are closed from December 21st to January 3rd for the holidays.
For bi-weekly customers, missed service due to holidays or other reasons means a four-week gap between cleanings. To avoid this, we recommend upgrading to weekly service.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
We operate in heat, rain, and cold as long as it is safe. However, we cannot work during severe thunderstorms, flooding, or heavy snow that makes roads unsafe.
Service interruptions due to weather conditions—such as snow, heavy rain, strong winds, extreme temperatures, government actions, or other uncontrollable events—may still be
charged.
We also do not want to tear up your yard in any way. If it is really muddy, we may skip your yard and wait until the next scheduled visit when things have dried out.
PERFORMANCE OF SERVICES
We will service your yard on the assigned date(s) unless delays occur. It is your responsibility to ensure we have access to the area and that aggressive dogs are not present.
Before service, please clear gates of any obstructions, such as snow, debris, padlocks, or furniture. Many customers provide combination locks, keys, or gate/garage codes for access. If we cannot enter due to a locked gate or an aggressive dog, we will skip that visit and resume service on your next scheduled date. While we attempt to
secure all gates, we are not responsible for ensuring they remain locked.
Please check gates after service if this is a concern.
LEAVES, DEBRIS AND TALL GRASS
We will always do our best to clean your yard the best that we can. We understand that maintaining your yard is a lot of work and it may not always be in the best shape. Please understand that it can be very difficult to find dog poop in tall grass or in a yard full of leaves or other debris. If your grass is tall when we come, do not be surprised when you uncover some dog waste that we may have missed. We will be back on our next scheduled visit and will likely get anything we miss when yard maintenance is complete. If you find an excessive amount that we missed, please let us know as soon as possible and we will get it taken care of.
AGGRESSIVE DOGS
We love working with friendly dogs, but we cannot provide service if an aggressive dog is in the yard. If we are unable to complete a cleaning due to an aggressive dog, we will attempt service the following week.
If a staff member is bitten, they will leave immediately to seek medical attention, and the visit will be considered complete. The client is responsible for all medical expenses.
Depending on the situation, Animal Control may be contacted. Clients must keep accurate vaccination records and provide them upon request in case of an incident. For safety reasons, we reserve the right to decline service if we feel unsafe.
BILLING
We require an up-to-date credit or debit card on file for service. We bill on the 1st of each month for that’s months service. If your card does not go through, we will send the
invoice via email for you to process payment on your end. If payment is not received service will be discontinued. If more than 30 days has passed since your last clean-up, a first time clean up fee may apply.
Poop Squad is a monthly subscription service. We do not offer refunds for missed service due to weather, holidays or other delays. After a missed service, for the following
service we will have to pick up all of the poop from the previous week so for that reason we will not provide credits. In cases where we skip service for a week we will see you the following week. If you need it cleaned up before your next scheduled service, please call us and we will do our best to get it cleaned as our schedule allows, but cannot guarantee it.
CANCELLATION
You may cancel services at any time without penalty or cancellation fees. To avoid being charged for the next month, cancellations must be made at least one week before the end of the current month. Any outstanding payments for services already rendered are due at the time of cancellation.
REVISIONS
We may update these terms at any time by modifying this page. You are responsible for reviewing any changes, as they are binding. Some terms may also be updated through notices posted elsewhere on our website. The most current version of our terms is always available online.
